Hello Arrowmen!
I am writing this from the beautiful Camp Manatoc, where we are celebrating our 102nd summer camp. This summer, we’ve fully transformed not only our summer camp program but also our OA program at summer camp, and I have loved sharing it all with you!
Coming up at the end of this summer is the Summer Induction Weekend, August 1-3rd at Camp Manatoc. There we will have an Ordeal, a Brotherhood Ceremony, as well as some amazing activities like a very special Glow Climb! We want you to help out with this event by signing up to be an elangomat or nimat, or a general support staff, to help out with inductions. If you are interested in being on induction staff, please reach out to VC_induction@marnoc.org! We will see you at the Marnoc Lodge Summer Induction Weekend!
Coming up soon after the Summer Induction Weekend is the Fall Induction Weekend, September 12-14th at Camp Stambaugh, we will be having the Marnoc Lodge Fall Induction Weekend! We want you to help out with this event by signing up to be an elangomat or nimat, or a general support staff. You can once again reach out to the Vice Chief of Inductions and he will lead you to helping out with inductions! We would highly appreciate your service!
And to cap off your fall, join us at the Marnoc Lodge Fall Fellowship! From October 3-5 at Camp Butler, we will be having some amazing activities, as well as our annual officer elections. If you are interested in running for lodge office or voting on our 2026 lodge officers, please join us at the Fall Fellowship, once again, October 3-5 at Camp Butler. I can’t wait to see you there!
Finally, be on the lookout for service days on the lodge and council calendar. These opportunities help us give back to our camps, there will be service days offered at all three camps, and we must give back to all of our camps so that they can continue to be used for years to come!
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about anything in this chief's letter, please feel free to email me at chief@marnoc.org. Thank you, as always, for your commitment to others through lives of cheerful service.
