Ceremonialists

At the completion of your Ordeal, who stands out the most? Is it your Elangomat? Probably not. A friend you made during your Ordeal? Probably not. The people most remembered by members from their Ordeal are the ceremonialists, maybe not the people underneath the outfit, but the characters they represent.

So how does one go about becoming a ceremonialist for our beloved lodge? All you have to do is know the part you wish to play and contact our Ceremonies Chairman, Greg Davis. Or you can also just stop by the Buena Vista cabin out at camp and ask for me, Richard Fallon (Dickuls).

Being a ceremonialist is not as difficult as it sounds, but it does take some time commitment. The hardest part is memorization of the ceremony you wish to do, and some parts are smaller than others. Please contact me if you need a script. Here is the link to a page where you can access a copy a ceremony. It is password protected, but they'll ask you the password on the page.

I encourage all interested in ceremonies to look in the Ordeal level material on the link and read the Awake My Friends ceremonialist training (the HTML file is the only one that works). There are still openings in many ceremonies throughout the summer, please consider doing a part.
